Your account
The Account section is where you keep your contact details current, change your password and tune the notifications you receive from your agency. Anyone with a client portal login can manage their own account.
Opening Account
- Sign into the portal.
- Click your name in the top-right corner and choose Account.
You'll see four areas: profile details, password, two-factor authentication and notifications.
Updating your contact details
Keep these up to date so your agency reaches the right person:
- Open Account.
- Edit your name, phone or job title as needed.
- Click Save.
To change your email address, contact your agency. Your email is the address they invited you with and is used to identify your account, so they update it on their side and you'll receive a confirmation link to the new address.
Changing your password
- Open Account.
- In the password section, enter your current password.
- Enter a new password of at least 12 characters.
- Confirm and click Save.
You'll stay signed in on your current device but will be signed out everywhere else.
Two-factor authentication
If your agency hasn't required two-factor authentication, you can still turn it on yourself:
- Open Account and find the two-factor section.
- Click Enable.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app.
- Enter the six-digit code to confirm.
- Save the backup codes somewhere safe.
To turn it off, click Disable and confirm with your password. Your agency may have a policy that prevents this.
Notification preferences
Notifications keep you in the loop without forcing you to check the portal. Open the notifications section in Account and toggle these as you prefer:
- New shortlists. An email when your agency puts forward a new candidate for one of your roles.
- Timesheets to approve. An email each time a new batch of timesheets is ready for sign-off.
- New invoices. An email when your agency issues an invoice to your organisation.
- Query replies. An email when your agency responds to a comment you left on a candidate, timesheet or invoice.
Tune notifications to your role. Hiring managers usually want candidate updates and timesheet alerts; finance people usually want invoice and timesheet updates. Turning off the ones you don't need keeps the inbox readable.
Leaving the portal
If you change role or leave your organisation, your access should be revoked. The client portal doesn't let you delete your own account; instead:
- Contact your agency.
- Ask them to revoke your access and, if relevant, set up a colleague as the new contact.
- Confirm you no longer receive notifications.
Your past comments, approvals and decisions stay on the record so the audit trail is preserved.
