Dashboards

Your dashboard is the home screen for live KPIs. Build it from drag-and-drop widgets that refresh automatically as your team works.

Opening your dashboard

Your personal dashboard is the first screen you see after login. To open it from anywhere in RecSphere, click Dashboard in the left navigation.

If your workspace has team dashboards published, you can switch between them using the dashboard picker at the top of the page.

Adding a widget

Widgets come in three main types: single-number KPIs, charts and lists.

  1. Open the dashboard you want to edit.
  2. Click Add widget in the top-right corner.
  3. Pick a widget type:
    • KPI for a single number, such as "Placements this week".
    • Chart for trends and comparisons, such as a bar chart of placements by recruiter.
    • List for the top N records matching a filter, such as "Top 10 active vacancies".
  4. Choose the data source and metric.
  5. Apply any filters (date range, recruiter, client).
  6. Click Save.

The new widget appears at the bottom of your dashboard. Drag it to where you want it.

Resizing and rearranging

Click and hold the header of any widget to drag it around the grid. Drag the bottom-right corner to resize.

Changes save automatically to your personal dashboard. Team dashboard layouts are saved by the admin who owns them.

Pin the right widgets

A focused dashboard of 5-8 widgets outperforms a sprawling one of 30. Pin only the metrics you act on daily, and put the most important widget top-left.

Personal vs team dashboards

You can have both kinds of dashboard at the same time.

Personal dashboards are private to you. Use these for your own pipeline, your placements and the metrics you care about most.

Team dashboards are published by an admin and shared with a role or the whole workspace. Use these for shared visibility, such as a daily ops dashboard or a placements leaderboard. Each viewer still only sees rows their permissions allow.

Widget filters

Every widget supports a built-in set of filters.

  • Date range - today, this week, this month, custom range.
  • Recruiter - filter to one or more team members.
  • Client - scope the widget to a single client or location.
  • Vacancy or role - useful for shift-heavy workspaces.

Filters are saved with the widget. If you want different filters for the same metric, add the widget twice and filter each copy.

Refresh frequency

Dashboard widgets refresh on a schedule designed to balance freshness with platform load.

  • KPI and list widgets refresh roughly every 1-2 minutes.
  • Chart widgets with large date ranges may refresh every 5 minutes.
  • You can force a manual refresh by clicking the refresh icon on any widget.

For data that needs to be exactly up to date, use the report builder instead. Reports run on demand against live data.
