Settings overview
Settings is the admin hub for your RecSphere workspace. It brings every configuration area into one place, from global behaviour and branding through to integrations, payroll and user management. You need the Admin role to open Settings.
Where to find it
Open Settings from the sidebar. The page is organised into a set of tabs:
- Admin with sub-tabs for Global, Branding, Invoicing and Job Posting
- AI Credits
- API Access
- Compliance
- Document Builder
- Import Data
- Integrations
- Payroll
- System Values
- Templates
- User Management
If you cannot see the Settings page, you do not have the Admin role. Ask an existing admin in your workspace to grant it. See Roles and permissions.
Admin
The Admin tab holds workspace-wide configuration, split across four sub-tabs.
Global
The Global sub-tab controls default behaviour across the platform:
- Idle Logout Time sets how long a session can stay inactive before the user is signed out automatically.
- Default Country Code is applied as the default on new phone numbers when you add candidates, contacts and other records.
- Auto Show Contact Log decides whether the contact log and activity panel opens automatically on detail pages.
- Auto Show Email View decides whether the email/source view opens automatically where that view is available.
- Disable Client Invites stops invitations being sent to client portal users when you do not want clients to self-serve.
These fields are visible from Settings > Admin > Global in the current CRM.
Branding
Set your logo, colours and theme so the platform and portals match your brand. See Branding and letterhead.
Invoicing
The Invoicing sub-tab includes GM Periods, where admins can manage named gross-margin reporting periods with start and end dates.
Job Posting
The Job Posting sub-tab holds job posting settings and Application Auto-Responses for internally managing applications that arrive through the idibu API. These settings cover outcomes such as application received, approve and shortlist, keep on file and reject. See Job posting settings.
The other areas
Each remaining tab is documented in its own section of the Help Centre:
- AI Credits tracks the credit balance used by AI-powered actions such as CV parsing. See AI credits.
- API Access manages the keys used by the Public API. See Developers.
- Compliance configures questionnaires, references and document signing. See Compliance overview.
- Document Builder is where you build the contract document templates used when contracts are sent for signing. See Creating contracts.
- Import Data lets you bring candidates, clients and other records in from another system. See Importing your data.
- Integrations connects RecSphere to Xero, idibu, Aircall and more. See Integrations overview.
- Payroll holds pay-run and tax configuration. See Payroll overview.
- System Values manages the configurable dropdown and list values used across the platform. See System values.
- Templates holds your reusable message templates for email, SMS and WhatsApp. See Message templates.
- User Management is where you add and manage users and their access. See Roles and permissions.
Before you invite your team, set your Default Country Code and Idle Logout Time and confirm your branding. Getting the defaults right early saves you correcting records later.
