AI credits
RecSphere uses AI credits to power its AI-powered actions. Credits give you a clear, predictable way to see how much AI usage you are consuming across your workspace.
What uses credits
The main consumer of AI credits is CV parsing. Each time a CV is parsed it uses one AI credit. This happens when you:
- Add a candidate by uploading their CV, and
- Re-upload a CV or run a CV comparison on an existing candidate record.
So a candidate whose CV you parse on add and later re-upload uses one credit each time.
Tracking your balance
Open Settings > AI Credits to see your current balance and manage it. From here you can keep an eye on how many credits you have left and top up when you need more.
If you are about to import or upload a large batch of CVs, check your balance first. A big import can use a credit per CV, so topping up beforehand avoids the parsing pausing partway through.
Running low on credits affects only AI-powered actions such as CV parsing. The rest of RecSphere keeps working as normal. You can add a candidate manually without parsing a CV if you prefer not to use a credit.
