Vacancy applications

The Applications tab shows applicants connected to a vacancy.

Applications may come from job posting integrations, public vacancy links or other configured sources.

Vacancies may also be created from other intake workflows, such as parsed client emails or manual entry. Use the Applications tab for applicants; use the vacancy details and schedule areas to complete the role information itself.

Open Applications

  1. Open Vacancies.
  2. Open the vacancy record.
  3. Select Applications.

Applications list

The Applications list can show:

  • Applicant Name
  • Source
  • Date Applied
  • Status

Use this list to review who has applied and where the application came from.

Working applications

Depending on your workspace configuration, an application may be connected to:

  • a new candidate record
  • an existing candidate record
  • a CV or document
  • a shortlist or pipeline stage

Review the application details before progressing the applicant.

Application review actions may let you create a candidate record and, where appropriate, add the applicant to the vacancy shortlist. Use the shortlist option only when the applicant is suitable for the role; otherwise create or update the candidate record without progressing them against that vacancy.

If job posting integrations are enabled, applications may arrive from external job boards or posting tools. Check the source and any parsed CV information before relying on the application data.

Once an applicant becomes a candidate, later actions such as adding a CV, recording availability, requesting compliance, shortlisting or submitting to a client may affect their pipeline stage where pipeline automation is configured.
